Welcome to the Automotive and Mechanical Engineering Department!

Welcome to the Department of Mechanical & Automotive Engineering; we take pride in being a leading institution for Automotive Engineering training, offering comprehensive programs designed to equip our trainees with the skills and knowledge required for success in the automotive industry, thus empowering them economically. Under the guidance of our dedicated team of competent training staff, we provide a conducive learning environment that fosters both mastery of competency and practical experience.

1. Automotive Engineering 

This course provides in-depth knowledge of vehicle systems and their maintenance, focusing on engine mechanics, transmission systems, and automotive electronics. Students gain practical skills in diagnosing and repairing vehicles, preparing them for careers in the automotive industry.

2. Mechanical Engineering (Plant Option)

This course focuses on the design, operation, and maintenance of industrial machinery and plant systems. Students learn about mechanical systems, thermodynamics, and industrial equipment, preparing them for roles in plant engineering and maintenance within manufacturing and industrial settings.

3. Welding and Fabrication

This course equips students with the skills needed for metal welding and fabrication. It covers various welding techniques, metalwork, and blueprint reading, preparing students for careers in construction, manufacturing, and metal fabrication industries.

4. Driving

This course provides comprehensive training in safe and responsible driving practices. Students learn road safety, vehicle operation, traffic laws, and defensive driving techniques, preparing them to obtain a driver’s license and drive confidently in various conditions.

The well-equipped workshops in which all the practical lessons are conducted. In the previous academic year, our department registered a pass rate of 77.7%, a testament to our commitment to academic excellence and the success of our trainees.
