Welcome to the Building and Civil Engineering Department!

I am honored to welcome you to the Building and Civil Engineering Department, which plays a pivotal role in shaping the modern world we live in today. Building Technician

This course equips students with essential skills in construction, from producing building drawings and performing site works to managing materials, performing structural works, and overseeing project management, ensuring comprehensive expertise in building construction and finishing.

Plumbing

This course offers comprehensive training in installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems. Students gain practical skills in pipework, fittings, drainage, and water supply, preparing them for a successful career in the plumbing industry.

Masonry

This course provides hands-on training in constructing building substructures and superstructures, finishing masonry works, and producing masonry units, preparing students for a skilled career in the masonry trade.

The department has 5 trainers and 1 technician; this active staff teaches all classes. Building and Civil Engineering is ranked among the best departments nationwide. The student population is 51, with 9 female and 42 male students.
We aim to become a renowned building and civil engineering department focused on sustainable infrastructure and sustainable environment by excelling in targeted and emerging areas of building and civil engineering research while increasing regional and national visibility in those areas. We also strive to improve income-generating activities through the production of masonry components (blocks, paving slabs, cabs, etc.), carpentry products, and plumbing products.
