The day-to-day running of the college is strictly per the Constitution of Kenya 2010, relevant acts of parliament, Ministry of Education policies and circulars, and Board of Governors approved policies. Khwisero Technical and Vocational College (KTVC) is a public institution registered and operates under the TVET Act, 2012.
As the Deputy Principal in charge of Administration, Human Resources, Planning, and Development, I play a pivotal role in supporting the principal in the routine management of the institution. Collaborating with relevant departments and staff, we develop relevant and compliant policies that provide guidelines and references for executing functions and activities at the KTVC. Further, in conjunction with the Human Resources department, we are responsible for ensuring that the college maintains a qualified, effective, motivated, and adequate workforce.
KTVC is primed to take a leading TVET position in providing technical and entrepreneurial training, applied research, and innovation. To achieve this, partnerships with stakeholders, including the community that provides us with students, are necessary.
The office of the Deputy Principal Administration plays a pivotal role in maintaining discipline among students and staff. This guarantees a safe and conducive environment for KTVC to meet its expectations and mandate as a training institution.
